Baby J has been getting bigger by the day, so the energy I had in my second trimester is pretty much gone. By the end of the day, if I drop a cheerio on the floor, I almost always decide it's not worth picking up until the next morning. The midwives recommended Epsom salt soaks a few times a week to help with the achiness, which helps, but makes me so itchy I end up having to take benadryl anyway. So, I think I've given up on those.
D and I have enjoyed the new (to us) car. I can't begin to describe how nice it is having air conditioning! Every time I get in and turn it on, I wonder how I survived two years down here without it. I don't have to put my hair up and hug ice packs when I drive into town anymore, it's fantastic. Plus I think it's pretty:
I finished my exam for the Grooming Instruction Program through Animal Behavior College this week and scored a 93%, which is unbelievable because I fluffed my way through the essay section. I'm so glad to be done, but think it's a joke that I graduated this program with honors and still can't groom a dog. Lesson to other milspouses: don't waste your MYCAA.
D and I are planning to hang out tomorrow, which is going to be nice. He's been so busy with Honor Guard and work stuff lately that we don't see much of each other. I'm hoping I can talk him into going out for sandwiches at The Buttercup in the afternoon, and maybe taking a drive down to the ocean. I want to make sure we get all of the "us" time in that we can before there's another little person to consider.
